“Nursery pupils make new pals”

“Cute and furry creatures were the star attractions for more than 50 young children when a visiting farm called at their school.

Despite many never having been up close and personal with farm animals before, the kids took to them like ducks to water.

They were soon feeding and stroking a variety of creatures, including piglets, chicks, ducks, goats, lambs and Shetland ponies.

Miller’s Farm visited The Old Rectory Nursery School in Church Road, Cranford, last Thursday, to coincide with a project the youngsters were doing on farm animals.”
